Voices of Resilience Tour Visits Cadotte Lake School

Voices of Resilience Tour Visits Cadotte Lake School

Feb 2, 2026

Cadotte Lake School was honoured to welcome Stirling John and Matt Cardinal as part of their Voices of Resilience Tour, a powerful day centered on music, storytelling, and connection.

The visit began with a live performance for students, where Stirling and Matt shared songs and stories that spoke to resilience, identity, and the importance of finding one’s voice. Students were fully engaged, listening closely as music and message came together in a meaningful and memorable way.

Following the performance, Stirling and Matt spent time moving through classrooms, giving students the opportunity to ask questions, hear more stories, and enjoy a few additional songs in smaller, more personal settings. These moments created space for open conversation and reflection, allowing students to connect directly with the artists and their experiences.

The Voices of Resilience Tour is designed to inspire youth through honesty, creativity, and lived experience. We are grateful that Cadotte Lake School was included on this journey and thankful to Stirling John and Matt Cardinal for the time, energy, and care they shared with our students.

Experiences like this reinforce the importance of bringing voices, stories, and opportunities into our school that support confidence, understanding, and strength. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible.
