An Event in collaboration with the KTC ISET Program, KTC Education Authority, KTC Child and Family Services and Employer Partnerships
On May 14 &15th, our communities will witness a remarkable convergence of inspiration, innovation, and collaboration at our Youth Symposium/Job Expo 2025. Hosted in Red Earth Creek Alberta, the event will bring together over 4 diverse departments of KTC and numerous partnerships with local organizations and employers, creating a vibrant platform for our youth and members to engage, learn, and lead.
The event will be designed to empower minds with the skills and knowledge necessary for personal and professional growth. Through interactive sessions, attendees will explore a wide range of topics, from Employment, Health and Education, Children Services and Mental Health.
Planned Events
Workshops and Job expo: Participants will have the opportunity to visit over 40 tables led by experts across various fields. Highlights included:
- Employment: Meet employers from various partnerships with KTC Member Nations to share opportunities
- Education: A deep dive into the importance of Education and courses offered by the KTC Education Authority and surrounding Accredited Institutions
- Health and Wellness: Comprehensive displays on mental health awareness, addiction, physical fitness, dental hygiene and nutrition, conducted by the KTC Health Department (s) and community partner’s
- Networking Opportunities: With representatives from over 6 KTC departments and multiple community partners, the event will offer extensive networking opportunities. Attendees will connect with mentors, industry experts, employers, and peers, building relationships that could shape their future careers.
